Job summary -

To maintain a positive public image for Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek while developing targeted market segments and identified group segments. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities)

The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position

  • Solicit and strategically grow business from all Transient market segments – including BAR, Discount, Qualified, Extended Stay and Corporate.  Primary focus will be placed on Qualified and Corporate segments. 
  • Solicit and strategically grow business from the Group Entertainment market segment – work closely with RHR Global Sales Directors.  
  • Manage local Mansion Club membership program
  • Strategically develop new markets and build on existing markets
  • Effectively maintain, monitor and evaluate monthly account productivity
  • Conduct frequent travel research and identify areas of opportunity to grow market share – include RHR GSO team
  • Function as a liaison between clients and hotel associates
  • Create and execute strategic plans and actions for each identified market segments
  • Assist in marketing plan strategies and budgets
  • Achieve budgeted production goals for each identified market segment
  •  Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitive set, and its impact on the hotel. Anticipate business needs with flexible planning. 
  • Respond to client/guest requests in courteous, professional and timely manner
  • Participate in weekly Revenue/Yield meetings focusing on future business opportunities
  • Participate in identified Group Rooms Control (GRC) meetings focusing on group leads and opportunities
  • Participate identified business and community networking events


       Experience -

Minimum of 3 years hotel sales experience – luxury brand preferred


       General Skills -

Understand guest service needs

        Education or Certification -

College degree required


        Language -

Required to speak, read and write English


        Physical Requirements

Must be able to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, lift up to20 pounds, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.
