Staff Pro was founded in August of 2005 after Hurricane Katrina made landfall along the US Gulf Coast causing severe destruction of the area. In the ensuing scarcity of personnel in the region, Staff Pro satisfied a temporary void and managed to provide workers to aid with the clean-up and reconstruction efforts.
Shortly thereafter, Staff Pro began filling vacant positions primarily in hotels, resorts and casinos left by the exodus of the local population. With a commitment towards service and relationship building, Staff Pro made a conscious decision to grow organically where new accounts would be obtained by word of mouth as opposed to the employment of an aggressive sales strategy. Staff Pro’s niche within the broader U.S. staffing industry is the offering of 4,000+ base employees servicing 400+ properties, operated by 100+ management companies.
Staff Pro continues to grow at an impressive, yet calculated pace. Today Staff Pro provides part-time and full-time staffing services for difficult to fill/labor intensive positions for back and front of the house, outsourcing, overnight cleaning and janitorial services to our clients. Staff Pro’s assignments are mostly long term and are scheduled accordingly. With human capital and work culture being the impetus, Staff Pro continues to expand our presence across the US despite historic natural disasters, a global financial crisis, and rapidly evolving employment laws.
