4th Annual HOT Chef Throwdown

Calling All HANTX Chefs For A Special Culinary Event! We are excited to announce we are back with the 4th Annual HOT(el) Chef Throwdown on July 22, 2024! 

In partnership with the World Food Championships and Dallas College, were going to give 20 of our best chefs a chance to show off their talents and help us raise money for future members of the hospitality industry. 

The best part? These chefs will be duking it out to earn a “golden ticket” and prize money to compete in this year’s World Food Championship. There are FIVE Golden Tickets that will be awarded this year and monetary prizes for the top THREE teams (1st Place -$1000, 2nd Place - $750, 3rd Place - $500). The competition is for Executive Chefs, Sous Chefs, Pastry Chefs, or up-and-coming Chefs on your hotel team. The Chef’s will be challenged to create their best dish in a timed, live cooking competition hosted at the Dallas College Culinary, Pastry and Hospitality Center. 

This year the 12th Annual World Food Championships will be in Indianapolis November 8-12, 2024.  We would love to have our golden ticket winners serve as ambassadors of our region's culinary scene and again - highlight our fabulous and creative hotel chefs.
