Active Shooter Training

HANTX is offering an Active Shooter Training on August 9th for its members. This education and training program will equip you with the knowledge to stay alive during an active shooter attack and measures you can take to be safe. At the end of the session, you will: 

• Understand the dangers posed by active shooter incidents. 
• Know what skills you can develop to help survive an active shooter incident. 
• Understand the three main survival options that are available to you in active shooter situations. 
• Know specific steps you should take to pursue these survival options. Know what you should and shouldn’t do when the police arrive at an active shooter incident that you are involved in. 

Our trainers will be with the Dallas Police Department.
