HANTX Day of Service
First Shift | 9:30 am - 12:30 pm (10 people)
Second Shift | 1 pm - 4 pm (10 people)
Join us for a Day of Service for Habitat at Humanity's Lake Highlands ReStore location on Tuesday, September 17. Habitat Restores play an important role in supporting Habitat for Humanity's mission to provide decent shelter to everyone around the world. They are operated by local Habitat for Humanity organization and proceeds are used to help build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter in our local community.
Habitat ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers. The items they sell are available to the public and similar to what you may see in other home good stores, such as a brand new box of tile you’ve been needing for your bathroom project or a vintage treasure you won’t find anywhere else. However, Habitat ReStores are more than just resell stores.
The purpose of Habitat ReStores is to contribute to the work of Habitat for Humanity. ReStores are always looking for volunteers. To volunteer with HANTX, please sign up through our registration process.
Because Habitat for Humanity requires everyone to sign a safety waiver, you will receive instructions once you register to participate with HANTX for this Day of Service.
