HANTX Day of Service - Special Olympics of Texas Summer Games

Special Olympics of Texas will be hosting their Annual Statewide Summer Games May 1-4th in Melissa, Texas.  

HANTX will be having a Day of Service where our members may volunteer on Friday, May 2, to assist with a variety of activities, events and competitions for these Summer Games. There are different time slots and opportunities available and will be a great camaraderie & team building activity.  

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
