The Inaugural HOT(el) Chef Throwdown
Calling All HANTX Chefs For A Special Culinary Event!
Let’s face it. Our North Texas Hotels are home to some of the best chefs in the world! And that’s why we are thrilled to announce the inaugural HOT(el) Chef Throwdown for 2021!
In partnership with the World Food Championships and Dallas College, we’re going to give 20 of our best chefs a chance to show off their talents and help us raise money for future members of the hospitality industry. The best part? They’ll be duking it out to earn one of four spots - a "golden ticket" to compete in this year’s WFC in the tournament’s Chef category, where a BIG payday awaits with a $350,000 prize purse!
This competition is for Executive Chefs, Pastry Chefs, or up-and-coming Chefs on your hotel team. The Chef's will be challenged to create their "Signature Dish" in a timed, live cooking competition hosted at the Dallas College Culinary, Pastry and Hospitality Center. So spread the word! Watch our chefs show off their creativity and try to impress our expert panel of judges for a chance at the BIG payday!
There are a limited number of spots available. Limited to one team per hotel (a team may consist of up to 3 team members such as (1) Chef, (1) Sous Chef and (1) Assistant). Questions? Check out our FAQs.
Registration for HANTX member hotels is now open - $300 team registration.
Registration for non-HANTX member hotels opens July 21st - $375 team registration.
